How to choose your wedding cake!
WHAT SIZE?
When you choose your style of cake, let me know how many guests you are catering for and I will ensure your design is large enough to suit. If you are catering for large numbers an extra 'side cake' can be made and kept aside in the kitchen for cutting. The guide below may help you to calculate how many cakes you need. Portions are based on 1" slices of fruit cake and 1.5" slices of sponge cake. The bigger you slice the fewer portions you get!

PRESENTATION
When planning the layout of your chosen venue, don't forget to include a cake table and a knife. (This is often provided by your chosen caterer). You will need to inform your reception organiser to set aside a small table, in a safe area that will show off your cake to your guests.

And leave room to show you off of course!!
