So to my first post. For all those animal lovers out there you will smile, for those who prefer chickens in a kebab, then stop reading.

I love my girls, the girls being my friendly egg laying team. Loved by me so they lay yummy eggs to make my cakes. The baking days are so busy now, they need to up the production or I will threaten them with the 'Kebab' word.

Today they all escaped, I think they had it planned for days.....a little adventure into several of the neighbours gardens, everything looks so much more exciting over there! Thankfully I have learnt that a mixture of porridge and couscous works a treat. I still had to climb several fences to bring them home under my arm. Glad it wasn't raining.

Bad Bad Girls

Ok, so this whole blogging thing is all a little new to me. I've been a technophobe most of my life, so anyone that knows me will be most impressed that I have discovered the art of social networking.

I've always been good at mastering anything involving creativity.....so long as it does not involve a computer!
